Van founded Smart Resources with a confidence in his background in IT consulting. He began his IT consulting career almost 20 years ago with a local Richmond IT consulting firm, where he gained deep technical experience on a PeopleSoft implementation team and web development group. From there, he shifted to account management, assisting public sector clients with their IT consulting needs. His last position prior to forming Smart Resources was in the role of Vice President with another consulting firm, which is where he reunited with his current business partner, Richard Neisz.

 

Outside of the office, you’ll find Van on the golf course, reliving his days as a PGA Class A golf professional. He also loves traveling with his awesome wife, Beth.
